The West Midlands Region as designated by national government does not always have a strong identity. The confusion between this, the former West Midlands Metropolitan County and the West Midlands as identified by postal areas is a barrier to the meaningful promotion of the region as a whole. To overcome this, a suite of regional maps has been developed which communicate our geographic boundaries, locate major universities, road networks and transport links.
Feel free to download and use the maps in your own communication materials to help build greater awareness of our region's geographical boundaries and the value of its unique central location.
